Storm flooding can lead to mold problems.

When rainwater, or an overflowing stream causes crawlspaces under buildings to get wet, the lingering moisture may be the perfect breeding location for damaging mold colonies that will attack the wood. As the moisture lingers and the mold grows odor can enter the building. Wood becomes weak and the potential damage mounts. That is why drying out a crawlspace, after a storm or any flooding is always the best thing to do. SERVPRO can extract the water and we can dry the space by lowering humidity.
