On Sunday the 20th, just a short drive north of Belmont at the Pet Club of San Mateo, there will be a colossal adoption fair for kitties seeking a new home. If your household has room for a new furry member, then you should check this out. The event will be hosted by the San Mateo County Cat Rescuers, a group that takes abandoned and stray cats from around the area and places them into new and loving homes. With such a large event, expect to see a wide variety of ages, breeds, and attitudes. 

Every cat eligible for adoption comes with a full set of vaccinations and has been spayed or neutered. The Cat Rescuers note that due to coronavirus concerns, there is a chance that they may not be able to transport some or all the cats to the fair site. However, even if that happens to be the case, the volunteers present can match you and your household with the perfect pet.
